Snow globes from Jersey

Jersey is situated about 90 miles south of the English coast and 14 miles off the Cotentin Peninsula of north-west France. At 45 square miles in size, Jersey is the largest of the Channel Islands. While not part of the United Kingdom, the UK government represents Jersey in international matters and is responsible for its defence but  has its own legal, fiscal and governmental systems. Humans have lived on the island since 12,000BC and the island now has  a population of approximately 103,000.
