This globe represents the wedding of Prince William and Catherine Middleton taking place on Friday, 29 April 2011 at Westminster Abbey (in the background) in London, England.

The millennium celebrations celebrated the end of 1999 and start of the year 2000 Gregorian calendar). The globe features the Millennium dome as it was called at the time - now O2 and the fireworks used in London at midnight
