Palma Cathedral, (La Seu), makes a great Gothic landmark along the seafront at the edge of Palma’s old town.  It was begun in the 13th century  and finished about 400 years later. It was built on the site of a mosque after the Christian conquest of Mallorca. With golden sandstone walls (which each globe trys to highlight) and a large rose glass window, its gothic nave is one of the largest in Europe.
